The theme for Prada’s Autumn/Winter 2020 collection was ‘surreal glamour’, expressed through powerful looks that caught the attention.

The designer Miuccia Prada is known for the graphic knitwear, thick rubber-soled shoes and bold color combination for this year’s fashion week, the designer added deconstructed skirt pleats like ribbons from the waist, layers of bejeweled fringe slashed across sweaters and padded nylon jackets that echoed the shape and volume of traditional furs. The clothes reveal skin and accentuate movement, sport and glamour are combined to define new forms and functions.
This collection is a consideration of the strenght of women and their authority. The typical characteristics of femininity are challenged in examples combined to contradict and propose a new meaning.
